This seems to us to be the best of the selections of Echinacea purpurea. Likes a soil that is not too dry and plenty of sun. The midsummer flowers have carmine red flat petals with a honey coloured prominent cone. A very good bee and butterfly plant. Height to about 90cm or even 1 metre.
