Echinacea pallida

Echinacea pallida
A coneflower with more relaxed habits - the petals at least, though the plant itself is self supporting. Grows to about 90cm and blooms in midsummer. This sunlover is a good perennial and tolerates drier conditions than the other Echinacea listed here. Used to excellent effect in the naturalistic plantings near the millenium glasshouse at Wisley. A very good propagation means price is static for 2014/15
